well, we finally did it. we own a mini van.
we traded our 2003 taurus for a 2002 windstar. the van has 20K less miles than our car did, it was a lot dirtier inside, and so far the issues that we know about are going to be a lot cheaper to fix than the issues our car had. We don’t know what kind of gas mileage it gets, but one of the things that needs fixed is some valve that will help it burn the gas properly or something like that, so that will help.
We are thrilled to have the extra space! and to be up higher, it makes putting kids in car seats a little easier. Also- now we have 2 more seats!
