I don’t think I can summarize the last 6 years in one blog post. If that is what you’re waiting for than I’m going to have to disappoint you. Instead you can focus on the positive- I’m blogging again.
What made me stop? I can’t say for certain, but I think it had to do with having 4 young kids, homeschooling, and the craziness that comes with those circumstances.
The good news is, I survived. My baby is six and a half now and my oldest is 12. So much has changed and I’m ready to share my life again. If anyone is here to listen.
Here’s the major life changes that have happened:
My husband ventured out on his own and started his own Web Design, graphic and videography business about 4 years ago. Self employment is not all fun and games like it seems it would be.
We bought a house a year and a half ago. We fell in love with the charm and character in an old house and are slowly working on fixing up what needs done.
See how much they’ve grown?!
We made the decision to put the kids in public school this year, it has been a wonderful change and we are all doing great with that decision (other than fighting off all the new germs we are exposed to) I’ll have to write a whole post on why we made that decision later.
I had some major health issues and was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis August of 2017- more on that another day.
After putting the kids in school I decided I’d go back to school an am pursuing a degree in Social Work. So far this decision has been challenging and rewarding. I’m one of those strange people who loves learning so I really have enjoyed taking classes.
Some of these major things will be turned into whole blog posts later.
