A lot has happened and I haven’t blogged about any of it!

On the 25th Josiah turned 6 months old. That’s a half a year. It’s crazy to think it’s been that long since he was born. He’s getting pretty big, We went to the doctor 3 times last week (none of them were his well visit either) he weighs 17lbs. He has another ear infection, apparently the fluid behind his left ear wont drain, so it just keeps getting infected. This time they gave him the shots, since none of the antibiotics worked. So we had to go 3 times, he got two shots, one each day, then Friday they checked and said the infection was gone. Crazy. We met with the ENT and he is scheduled to get tubes on June 28th. They wanted to wait until he was 7 months old to do it, which is fine with me.

We went up to Pennsylvania for the long weekend, it’s become a tradition, this was the 3rd year we’ve gotten together with my sister’s and mom at the same campground, each year more of our family has joined us. This year it was my two sisters and their families, my mom, two of my aunts and their families, my grandma and then another aunt and uncle came to visit us two days (they stayed in a hotel for the night).  It was Josiah’s first camping trip and I have to say I think he really enjoyed it. For a few weeks he’s been giving us a hard time when we try to put him to sleep, but each night while we were there he just fell right asleep. He must like being outside.  It was very buggy, and Lexi is covered with bites, bugs just like her. Caylee ran a fever almost the whole time we were there (she did that last year too, I don’t know what it is with her), she barely ate anything and she just wanted my sister the whole time. It was interesting.
While we were there I did my first real trail run. I run on a trail here, but it’s packed gravel and flat and clear. The one I ran on with my sister while camping was a real trail. one with big rocks, roots and huge, huge mud puddles, as well as big patches of mud. Oh and did I mention I forgot my shoes so I was wearing my brother in law’s shoes which were about 2 sizes too big. It was the most fun run I’ve ever done I think.

Lexi finished kindergarten on the 5th, I can’t believe how big she is, she’s reading and not just words, but books. Her favorite seem to be the I can Read Level 1 Fancy Nancy books.  She’s got a few others that she likes to read too, but I’m impressed.

Caylee has been gluten free for I don’t know how long now.  There’s no further improvement from the last update, some nights she sleeps great, others she wakes up once or twice. She eats next to nothing and she’s sick all the time. I don’t really know what to do about her. I need to find some good vitamins that she’ll take, or some supplement drinks or something I’m really getting worried about her.

I guess that’s about it for now!
