Life is really crazy right now.

We spent about 10 days in Tennessee and had a great time, despite the 24 stomach bug that hit us all while we were there. Monday morning at 2 am Lexi woke up throwing up. Over Monday and Tuesday she threw up 4 times. She then continued to have diarrhea until Yesterday. Her poor bottom was very, very red. Tuesday night we were at some friends house (at that point we associated the throwing up with her coughing)  Lexi was playing with two of their kids in another room when she started screaming. One of their little girls had accidentally shut 3 of Lexi’s fingers in the hinge part of the closet door.  We were afraid one finger was broken but as time went on she started bending it again.

Thursday morning (yes Thanksgiving day) Eugene and I both woke up sick. We both had diarrhea and I was throwing up too. We spend the majority of the day quarantined in the bedroom. By Friday we were both feeling 100% again. Friday night Caylee and I got to go hang out with the high school girls from the youth group at a sleep over, we had a bunch on fun.  Wednesday and Saturday and Sunday nights were spent visitting different friends. It was just a great time.

Saturday was also our 6 year wedding anniversary!!!  We didn’t do anything, but it was still a good day!

This morning around 5 Caylee woke up to eat, I fed her, Eugene changed her because her diaper leaked and then she was just laying there next to me wide awake. Out of nowhere she threw up. not once, but 4 times. Then she was fine the rest of the day. I guess she did the 24 bug in 1. The only other exciting thing about Caylee that happened is that she grew like a weed while we were there. Half the clothed that we brought for her to wear didn’t fit her by the end of the week. It was crazy.

On a completely different note Eugene has been out of work for almost a month already. I had peace until Today. Now I’m starting to freak out a little. Tomorrow he gets his last paycheck. That’s all the money that we know we’ll get for now. God is providing for us in many ways and we know He will continue to provide, but it is scary that he has no job and as of Today, we have no health insurance.

Tomorrow will be a busy fun day. We get to go grocery shopping, put up the Christmas tree and maybe some lights, we’ll also pay bills, cuz we all know that is fun! Look tomorrow for some pictures and… a giveaway!
