My suspicions were confirmed, Josiah has an ear infection. The doctor set up an appointment for me to meet with the ENT (ear nose throat) to schedule tubes. He figured with my history of ear infections, and Caylee’s history, that it’s unavoidable due to me passing on my horrible ears. I’m going to go to the appointment, but I am going off dairy first to see if that helps. growing up that was the one factor in my health. If I had dairy at all I got ear infections and cold symptoms. Seeing as we’ve all been sick off and on since Josiah was born I thought I’d wait a little bit and see if after we’ve all been healthy, if his ears are better. If not I’ll go ahead with the tubes, but I’d like to rule out other options before going straight for surgery.
As for Caylee and her leg… I have no clue what was going on. For 6 hour she wouldn’t even walk on it, i laid her down for a nap, woke her up to go to the appointment and she wouldn’t walk, so I carried her. When we got to the dr office she RAN across the parking lot. she stopped for a second, rubbed her knee and said ouch, then kept running. and continued to run, jump and walk normal. So I guess whatever it was is gone now and she is fine. The doctor looked her over and couldn’t find anything wrong either. Maybe she’s a hypochondriac.
